Inspired by the natural beauty of Malibu, Hannah and David envisioned a festive wedding that would incorporate many of the organic elements of the venue’s surroundings. While they plan to celebrate their wedding on 4th of July weekend, we nixed the red white and blue color palette in favor of bright pinks, festive oranges and yellows. The space will be accentuated with organic greenery and wooden furnishings that pay homage to the native landscape and history. We’re excited to incorporate a myriad of textiles both in the furniture vignettes and with a mix of brightly colored napkins at each place setting. Cozy, relaxed lounge nooks, messy pretty wildflower-esque arrangements and abundant food and drink will be everywhere one turns. The couple’s friend created the amazing hand illustration for their save the dates (below top right) and we plan to incorporate elements of that design throughout the paper goods and signage. The many authentic, personalized details will to create a relaxed, familiar atmosphere truly characteristic of this cool SoCal couple. There’s more to come soon!
