Destination wedding San Miguel de Allende is here! A visit to this magical place this past April has us giddy to plan and design our first wedding there. The town is alive in a sea of potter’s clay buildings, warm locals and Mexican charm. Taking a moment to dream of the perfect setting, our minds wandered to terra cotta details, delicious local cocktails, graphic design elements and pops of colorful blooms.
A romantic lace wedding gown would work perfectly in this dreamy scenario. Spicy margaritas are definitely in order. A cake with details reminiscent of the local tile work scene everywhere would be such a lovely touch. An intricate papel picado garland overhead is just the thing to add interest and authenticity. Why not send your guests home with their very own bottle of local tequila or mezcal that also serves as an escort card? We KNOW they would love that! Terra cotta shards to indicate table numbers? Oh, yes please! Or course, we must have brightly colored flowers everywhere.
