We recently partnered with 100 Layer Cake on the Crate & Barrel Private Registry Event and treated 150 couples to a decadent morning of delicious cocktails, yummy nibbles, live tunes and wedding inspiration galore to surround them while they built their registries. We had a blast with the modern boho hippie party concept and we designed three spaces for the couples to get inspired with while building their registries. Read on for all the details!
We were inspired by Joni Mitchell’s song “Woodstock” and decided we had got to get ourselves back to the garden. For our first space, we created denim pockets for each place setting and tucked in a menu with a bundle of wild flowers. We kept the look light, airy, and perfectly boho with the help of Of the Flowers who decked the space with colorful loose florals and greenery. Our second space took some strong cues from Joni’s song lyric “We are stardust, we are golden”. This table was a bit more sophisticated and understated, styled with amazing moon crater-esque plates from Crate & Barrel, golden accents and an amazing oversized sign from Prim & Pixie. Our final area was the record escort card display using Crate & Barrel’s record frames. Heather Kincaid captured it all perfectly for you to scroll through and get inspired!
