Whiskey Business: A Client Gift Box
Working as a wedding and event planner is a gift. I am thankful everyday to have made my passion into a career and to work with wonderful people to celebrate their most important life moments.
Whenever we sign-on with a new client, we like to show our appreciation for them by sending a gift that celebrates their engagement, helps them along on their planning journey, and shows that we care about them and we’re listening to who they are. Today we’re sharing a recent gift box we gave to one of our new clients.
Our new couple shared that one of their first dates was to a Japanese whiskey bar, so we centered their gift box around that special moment. We sourced fun geometric rocks glasses for holding whiskey and that also kind of reminded us of diamonds. After all, we are celebrating an engagement. We added whiskey stones to keep their drinks cold without watering them down.
To accompany the whiskey setup, we added a little chocolate from our favorite LA purveyor, Compartes, because whiskey and chocolate make the perfect pair, don’tcha think? If you ask us, we’ll tell you that chocolate goes with everything. We especially love Compartes because of their artful and colorful boxes. We’re suckers for good packaging!
Every engaged couple needs a place to put all of their meeting notes. This set of Rifle Paper Co. notebook and Le Pen will keep our couple organized and prepared for every meeting.
We wrapped the package in the most beautiful reusable box we found at The Social Type. Store your engagement cards or wedding photos or other wedding keepsakes here later.
These boxes can be easily modified to become groomsmen or bridesmaid gifts too. Are you an expert gift-giver? Share your favorite gift items in the comments below. We’re always looking for thoughtful gift ideas!
“Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it.”
