As a professional stylist with an eye for fashion, colors, and tones, our bride Lauren knew exactly how she envisioned her wedding day. This fashion focused SoCal wedding inspired by Italy is full of coastal views, delicious cocktails, romantic candlelight, intimate and sexy moments, and an overall effortlessly cool aesthetic.
THE FASHION
Lauren’s custom ceremony bridal ensemble and reception mini dress (shown in the dancing photos below) were designed by Lauren herself! The bridal gown features intricate pearl beadwork paired with a dramatic slit and plunging neckline.
And let’s take a moment to talk about our fashionable groom! Specifically, Griffin wore a chic ivory custom suit designed by his lovely bride with suede To Boot NY shoes to complete his look.
CEREMONY
Upon arrival, guests enjoyed a pre ceremony spritzer and expansive ocean views.
Organically, wooden benches formed a natural amphitheater facing the ceremony. Neutral colored rugs from Found Rentals created a textured aisle way. A ground floral installation in the ceremony space included lush greenery combined with fluffy florals in muted sunset tones created by Nu Leaf Designs.
The groom’s brother, Jake, officiated the ceremony in front of 125 of their closest friends and family. The Bride and Groom walked down the aisle to Rufus Du Sol’s, “Next To You” and “Brighter”. The ceremony was a spiritual journey including a reading from the Alchemist, and heartfelt, hand written personal vows.
COCKTAIL HOUR
Immediately following the ceremony was a lovely cocktail hour. Impeccably dressed guests sipped hand crafted signature cocktails. Everyone enjoyed delicious hors d’oeuvres while they meandered towards the cliffside ocean views.
Eventually, guests selected their escort cards from an Italian inspired wooden structure while heading to the back deck for dinner.
TUSCAN STYLE AL FRESCO DINNER
As the sun set, guests sat at candle-lit Tuscan style dinner tables perched on a cantilevered deck. Everyone enjoyed a farm to table, Italian inspired meal by WhoaNelly Catering.
Guests listened to heartfelt toasts from family and friends and enjoyed their meal as well as the stunning ocean views. Even the custom curated dinner menus by My Lady Dye intentionally matched the colors of the sunset, florals, and fashion!
DANCING
Following dinner, the rock wall surrounding the dancing area transformed into an illuminated display filled candles and colorful lighting. Sparkling mirror balls hung from the trees, which set the vibe for the perfect dance party.
The couple’s first dance was surrounded by sparklers and cheers! Next, guests enjoyed a spring berry Mille-Feuille Italian wedding cake and a custom gelato cart.
Finally, the dance party continued late into the night with a silent disco as two Honey DJs spun hip hop and house music. The dance floor remained packed the entire night!
The love and warmth of this couple and the colorful details of the wedding made a lasting impression on every guest.
