We’re seeing a strong color trend emerging in modern design lately and we just can’t ignore it anymore. Lilac, you’ve really got us flustered over here. We think your roots came from the 2018 Pantone color of the year and trickled down to a more approachable, soft purple hue for the Spring and Summer. We will admit, we were skeptical. But seeing a few designers use it right, like Sarah Sherman Samuel for instance, we are totally coming around. Now, readers, before you think that we are jumping on the lilac bandwagon (um, which I guess we are) let us just say a big reason we are warming to this trend is that we are ready for another soft pastel to join the wedding color palette. While we will always love our millennial pink, we think this lilac is going to be where it’s at for 2018-2019!
