It’s always exciting to step outside of the norm and flex a new creative muscle. I love wedding-focused styled shoots, but always jump at the chance to work in the lifestyle space. Brand styling is an exciting genre with goals that differ from the wedding editorial world.
I partnered with my friend Heather Kincaid to produce a styled shoot for ROE Caviar. The goal was to show the product in a variety of scenarios and to highlight the brand’s beautiful, sophisticated packaging. We showcased the caviar as an addition to a number of different menu scenarios, from a cheese and charcuterie spread to a topping for toasts and soup to a morning brunch scene.
The design aesthetic was sleek, clean and modern with stark contrasts of black and white, hard an soft, light and shadow. We incorporated a hint of color here and there, but kept the palette very simple otherwise, so as not to distract from the beautiful caviar and its packaging.
This post is making me hungry! Enjoy!
